STATE CHAPLIN'S CORNER

This has been a tough year for many individuals and families. The weather has wreaked havoc across the nation; the economy is continuing to decline and families are struggling to stay together. How can we keep on keeping on in these difficult times?

Well, if you turn your attention to the men and women of the North State Law Enforcement Officers Association, throughout the years they have endured racism, isolation, and persecution. However these professional men and women are still standing, persevering through the difficulties of life. It is no surprise that this organization is still here because it was built on the solid foundation of Christ.

This year has come and it will go never to be seen again, however I believe that if we stand on the solid foundation of Christ, then what the Apostle Paul said in Romans 8:28-29(NIV) will be true in your life, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels, nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
On Christ the solid rock we stand, all other ground is sinking sand!

STATE PRESIDENT'S CORNER

On behalf of the members and the State Executive Board of North State Law Enforcement Officers Association, I bring you greetings from the only “historically” black law enforcement association in the State of North Carolina.

It is with pleasure that I represent such a wonderful organization of professionals of North Carolina law enforcement. Since 1952, NSLEOA has championed a cause to provide a just atmosphere for all law enforcement in the State. We have eleven chapters situated throughout the State that benefit many law enforcement entities. Our goals were set on the laurels that certain discriminatory practices would not be tolerated in a profession that is known for helping others and keeping our communities safe. For over 56 years, the association has valiantly trained our members in many facets of law enforcement in the month of June in our annual Training Conference. These conferences are held in many of our beautiful cities in North Carolina.

We invite you to take a look at our website and please feel free to contact myself or any Executive Board member for any questions you may have about our organization.

Take great care and please be safe out there!

Thank you,
